Hard alloys, such as high-speed steel (HSS) and certain superalloys, can exhibit excellent heat resistance properties. While the specific heat-resistant temperature can vary depending on the alloy composition and application, some hard alloys are capable of withstanding temperatures in the range of 800 to 1000 degrees Celsius (1472 to 1832 degrees Fahrenheit) .

Superalloys like INCONEL® alloy 625 are known for their high strength and toughness, withstanding temperatures up to 980 degrees Celsius (1800 degrees Fahrenheit) [2]. Similarly, other high-temperature alloys like Haynes 230 are designed to maintain their mechanical properties at elevated temperatures, with solution heat treatment typically performed in the range of 1177 to 1237 degrees Celsius (2150 to 2259 degrees Fahrenheit) .

While hard alloys can offer significant heat resistance, it's essential to consider the specific requirements of the application and select the appropriate alloy accordingly.
